中車太原機車車輛有限公司是中國中車股份有限公司重要骨幹企業和中車長江集團核心子企業。始建於1898年，是山西省早期機械工業的發源地。主要從事電力機車檢修、鐵路貨車造修、軌道工程機械造修、倉儲物流等業務。
公司注冊資本7.27億元，資產總額42億元，現有員工3000餘人。坐落於太原鐵路裝備工業園新區，占地麵積1680餘畝，建設有國內領先、技術一流的工藝生產線，具備年檢修和諧係列電力機車400台、韶山係列電力機車350台，新造貨車7000輛、檢修貨車8000輛的生產能力。

Brief Introduction
CRRC Taiyuan Co., Ltd. is an important key enterprise of CRRC Co., Ltd. and core subsidiary of CRRC Yangtze Group. It was founded in 1898, the birthplace of early mechanical industry in Shanxi Province, engaged in electric locomotive overhaul, railway wagon manufacture and overhaul, railway engineering machinery manufacture and overhaul, warehousing and logistics.
The company has a registered capital of 727 million yuan, total assets of 4.2 billion yuan, and more than 3,000 employees. Located in the new area of Taiyuan Railway Equipment Industrial Park, covering an area of more than 1680 mu, it has built a domestic leading and first-class technological production line with the annual capacity of overhauling 400 HX electric locomotives and 350 SS electric locomotives, 7000 newly manufactured and 8000 overhauled wagons.
The company adheres to innovation-driven development, continuously improves the technological innovation system, constantly promotes capability of independent innovation, builds a complete product technology platform to meet customized demand of diversified and personalized products. Locomotive products cover all types of locomotives on railway lines, technology has successfully achieved a great span from DC to AC, as leading enterprise of railway electric locomotive overhaul in China. Wagon products have achieved full coverage of railway wagon models, and lead domestic hopper wagon technology, guiding three major upgrades of railway hopper wagon in China, as one of railway wagon technological leading factory in China.
